Description of the service

ShelfNotes is a personal knowledge tool that lets you record notes and quotes from books, and revisit them over time. The service is currently in alpha and provided free of charge.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login email address up to date. You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose or to store content that infringes third-party rights.

Your content

You retain ownership of the notes and quotes you create. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Availability

As an alpha product, ShelfNotes may be unavailable, slow, or subject to breaking changes at any time. We make no guarantees of uptime or data preservation, though we take reasonable precautions.

Limitation of liability

ShelfNotes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data or indirect damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
